What We Believe
Điều Chúng Tôi Tin
God (The Trinity)
There is one God, who is infinitely perfect, existing eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 5:48, Matthew 28:19
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is true God and true man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross as the righteous one for the unjust, as a substitute sacrifice, and all who believe in Him are justified on the basis of His shed blood. He rose from the dead according to the Scriptures. He is now at the right hand of the Most High as our great High Priest. He will return to establish His kingdom of righteousness and peace.
Philippians 2:6-11, Luke 1:36-38, 1 Peter 3:18, Hebrews 2:9, Romans 5:9, Acts 2:23-24, Hebrews 8:1, Matthew 26:64
Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is a divine being, sent to dwell within, guide, teach, empower believers, and convince the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment.
John 14:15-18, John 16:13 and Acts 1:8, John 16:7-11
Bible
The Old Testament and the New Testament, infallible as they were originally, are inspired by God's word and are the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of mankind. They constitute the sacred and sole rule of Christian faith and practice.
2 Peter 1:20-21 and 2 Timothy 3:15-16
Humanity and Sin
Human beings were initially created in the image and likeness of God: humanity fell because of disobedience, thus suffering both physical and spiritual death. All people are born with a sinful nature, separated from the life of God, and can only be saved through the atoning work of Jesus Christ. The portion of the unrepentant and unbelieving is eternal existence in conscious suffering; and the portion of the believers is in eternal joy and happiness.
Genesis 1:27, Romans 3:23, 1 Corinthians 15:20-23, Revelation 21:8, Revelation 21:1-4
Salvation
Salvation has been given to all people through Jesus Christ; and those who repent and believe in Him will be born again by the Holy Spirit, receive the gift of eternal life, and become children of God.
Titus 3:4-7
Faith and Salvation
God's will is that every believer should be filled with the Holy Spirit and completely sanctified, separated from sin and the world, and entirely dedicated to God's will, thereby receiving the power to live a holy life and serve effectively. This is both a crisis and a progressive experience in the life of a believer after conversion.
1 Thessalonians 5:23, Acts 1:8, Romans 6:1-14
Healing
Preparation is made in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ to heal the body or death. Prayer for the sick and anointing are taught in the Bible and are a privilege for the Church in the present age.
Matthew 8:16-17, James 5:13-16
Church
The Church comprises all those who believe in Jesus Christ, redeemed through His blood and born again by the Holy Spirit. Christ is the Head of the Body, which is the Church, entrusted by Him to go throughout the world to witness and preach the gospel to all nations.
Local Church
Easter
There will be a physical resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous; for the righteous, a resurrection to life; for the unrighteous, a resurrection to judgment.
1 Corinthians 15:20-23, John 5:28-29
The Second Coming
The Second Coming of Jesus Christ is imminent and will be a personal, visible, and pre-millennial return. This is the blessed hope of believers and a vital truth that motivates holy lives and faithful service.
Hebrews 10:37, Luke 21:27, Titus 2:11-14
The local church is a body of believers in Christ who worship God together, built up through the Word of God, prayer, fellowship, the proclamation of the gospel, and the observance of baptism and sacrament.
Ephesians 1:22-23, Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 2:41-47
